Located close to Brécey and Juvigny les Vallées, Le Clos de Sée is an excellent base from which to explore the wealth of the south Manche region. Just a few kilometers away, the waterfalls of Mortain offer a breathtaking natural spectacle. For the more contemplative, there are walks around Lac de la Roche qui Boit and in the Sée valley, a land of fishermen and hikers. Heritage lovers can visit Hambye Abbey, the medieval town of Villedieu-les-Poêles or, a little further afield, Mont-Saint-Michel. For epicureans, local markets and cider and cheese producers will delight the taste buds. Whatever the season, this corner of Normandy abounds in gentle, inspiring activities, in harmony with the spirit of the gîte.
