This diptych presents the choreographic universe of Leïla Ka, a contemporary dance prodigy with a powerful, expressive flow.
In Pode Ser ("Perhaps" in Portuguese), Leïla Ka explores the contradictions that inhabit every being. Dancer Marian Faria is on stage as if in a combat arena, sometimes a princess, sometimes a warrior, both at once. In the duet C'est toi qu'on adore, the same hypnotic energy, the same raw sincerity, the same mix of practices, beyond convention, that are Leïla Ka?s hallmarks. A show that exalts the beauty of collective flaws and struggles, embodied by two dancers who tear through space like a cry of hope.
