At the same time relaxing, and above all a good way to avoid the crowd of people in a hurry, the horse-drawn shuttle bus takes me to the entrance of Mont Saint-Michel in about 25 minutes.

The horse-drawn carriage, also called “Maringote”, accompanies me to the rhythm of the hooves, from the car park to the entrance of Mont Saint-Michel, in about 25 minutes.

Young and old alike enjoy this quiet time away from the hustle and bustle.

Departures near the shuttle ” Le Passeur “.

Departures are scheduled in front of the Tourist Information Centre, near the motorised shuttles “Le Passeur”.

Listen to the melody of the hooves,
enjoy the magnificent view,
see a few sheep in the distance,
feel the harmony of nature and place…

Time passes more slowly when you take the maringote, and rapture invites itself to the rendezvous.

As in the “Le Passeur” shuttles, our 4-legged friends are not accepted in the horse-drawn shuttle, except for dogs carried in an adapted bag or basket, as well as guide or assistance dogs.

Otherwise, I can always reach the monument on foot with my loulou on a leash, or entrust it to the kennel during my visit to the monument.

The departure times of the maringotes will be given to me on my arrival, or beforehand at the Tourist Information Centre : +33(0)2 14 13 20 15.
